Winnow Barns are nestled in a tranquil hamlet amidst the picturesque setting of the Peak District National Park.  The traditional barns, dating back to the 1700’s have been lovingly and sympathetically converted into luxury holiday accommodation. Combining the beauty of traditional materials with all the conveniences of modern day living, Winnow Barns provide the perfect country retreat for old and young alike.

As featured in Red Magazine… ‘Winnow Stables is a luxurious conversion, combining rustic exposed brickwork and wooden beams with a gleaming, modern kitchen, large smart TV, impeccably toasty heating and an even warmer welcome.’ Click here to read the full article.

Recommended by The Times … ‘The three cottages are done out beautifully, pairing original features such as wooden beams with modern kitchens and bathrooms.’

Once upon a time the three barns were home to sheep and cattle on a working dairy farm. These days we share our former working farm with a flock of Ryeland sheep, a herd of cheeky pygmy goats, Boris and Chicco the pet donkeys and a brood of free range rescue hens…… not forgetting the two farm cats and dog.

Each exquisite barn combines sophisticated luxury with the original simplicity of exposed wooden beams,  lime plaster walls and a sprinkling of local limestone. Comfort is paramount and together with stylish fittings and designer flourishes they wow and seduce….
